FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
"Streets of Yesterday"Volunteer Work Lake Geneva, WI - Ron Amann is currently heading a volunteer program to restore the Old Water Department on Mill Street in downtown Lake Geneva to the "Streets of Yesterday". Lake Geneva's Historical Society is working with local volunteer construction workers to create a new museum to present the history of Lake Geneva to the visiting public. The Geneva Lakes Area Museum of History has moved to it's new home on Mill Street, downtown Lake Geneva, after 22 years of being in a small two story old brick house on Geneva Street. The museum's new home is the old Electric Power and Light building where there is four times the amount of space. This exhibit has an authentic blacksmith shop, bank, post office, general store, and fire department of the past. More artifacts will be on display such as 1919 fire truck. Before Pictures:
